i had a premium heritage villa. it included a private garden. the garden was peaceful. the villa was spacious and beautifully maintained. i experienced the speedboat cruise through backwaters. this showcased the beauty of the area. the food was delicious. there were many options available.

i did notice the gym had very basic equipment. sanitisers were not available. face towels were not present. drinking water was also missing.

a relaxing escape with great service

traditional architecture lakefront cabin local crafts knowledgeable naturalist

i enjoyed a wonderful two-day stay, where the architecture showcased kerala's traditions. our lakefront cabin offered views of water lilies each morning and houseboats passing by! i also took a boat trip to nearby villages and learned about local crafts like rope making and toddy tapping. a knowledgeable naturalist joined us, and we spotted wildlife.

the gym, though available, had very basic equipment, and i noticed a lack of sanitizers, face towels, and drinking water, slightly inconvenient.

The hotel provided teatime at 4 pm daily with snacks by the lakeside. I met other guests during this time. there is a pool available , and the grounds have a serene atmosphere! kathakali performances are also arranged here.

the recreation hall offered enjoyable options. i liked the availability of the ayurvedic center. the swimming pool provided soul-soothing views facing the lake.

the staff seemed less attentive , compared to other places i stayed. i noticed a lack of smiles from the staff. the staff could be more friendly to improve the guest experience.
